The ground rules for using Reflipz.
By creating an account, you agree to use Reflipz only for lawful reselling activity and in accordance with the terms of service of each connected marketplace (eBay, Depop, Vinted, Poshmark, Mercari, Grailed, Facebook Marketplace). These terms form a legal agreement between you and Reflipz, and using the service means you've read and agreed to all of it, not just the parts that apply to you today.
You need to be old enough to form a binding contract in your state or country to create an account, and you're confirming that's true when you sign up. If you're using Reflipz on behalf of a business, you're confirming you have the authority to bind that business to these terms, and "you" in the rest of this document means that business as well as you personally.
You're responsible for the accuracy of listings created through your account, including item descriptions, condition, and pricing. Reflipz assists with generating listings but does not guarantee accuracy of AI-identified items. You're also responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything that happens under your account, whether or not you personally did it — let us know right away at hello@reflipz.com if you think someone else has access to it.
eBay and Depop provide official ways for apps like Reflipz to post listings on your behalf. Poshmark, Mercari, and Vinted do not — connecting one of these through Reflipz works by logging into your own account and posting for you the same way you would by hand, rather than through a connection that platform has approved for outside apps.
Because of that, connecting one of these three carries a real risk that the platform flags, limits, or bans the account for automated activity, independent of anything Reflipz does wrong. You accept that risk by connecting an account through this feature. Your login for that platform is encrypted and used only to post the listings you create — Reflipz does not use it for anything else and cannot recover it from you if you change your password there.
You keep ownership of the photos, descriptions, and other content you upload to create listings. By uploading it, you're giving Reflipz permission to host, copy, display, and transmit that content to the marketplaces you post it to — that's the whole point of the service, and this permission exists only so we can do that job for you, not to use your content for anything else. You're confirming you actually have the right to upload and sell whatever you upload photos of.
Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and we don't provide refunds for the unused portion of a billing period you've already paid for. Prices can change, but we'll give you notice before a change applies to your next renewal.
To keep the service available and reasonably priced for everyone, AI-based photo identification is subject to a fair-use daily limit per account. This limit is generous enough for normal reselling activity, including bulk batches, and exists only to prevent automated or abusive use from exhausting shared resources. If you hit it, you can still add listings manually while it resets.
Some accounts can source inventory from vendors through Reflipz's vendor marketplace. Reflipz connects you with vendors and provides the messaging to arrange a purchase, but Reflipz is not a party to that transaction — the actual sale, its price, shipping, condition of goods, and payment happen directly between you and the vendor. We aren't responsible for a vendor's inventory, conduct, or whether they hold up their end of a deal, and vendors aren't responsible for how you use Reflipz.
Reflipz isn't affiliated with, sponsored by, or a partner of eBay, Depop, Vinted, Poshmark, Mercari, Grailed, or Facebook Marketplace. Their names and logos belong to their respective owners and are used here only to describe which platforms Reflipz connects to. Each of those platforms has its own separate terms of service that apply to your account there, independent of your agreement with us, and nothing in this document overrides them.
Reflipz, its logo, and the software behind the service belong to us. Using Reflipz gives you a limited, personal, non-transferable permission to use the service for your own reselling activity — it doesn't give you ownership of any part of it, and you agree not to copy, modify, or build a competing product from it.
Reflipz is provided as available, without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that a listing will sell or perform any particular way. AI-generated descriptions, categories, and pricing suggestions are assistance, not guarantees of accuracy — you're responsible for reviewing them before a listing goes live. To the extent the law allows it, we don't make any other promises about the service, express or implied.
To the extent the law allows it, Reflipz isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including lost profits, lost sales, or a marketplace account being flagged, limited, or banned. Where liability can't be excluded entirely, it's capped at the amount you paid Reflipz in the twelve months before the claim. This section doesn't limit anything the law says can't be limited.
You agree to cover reasonable costs Reflipz incurs from a third-party claim arising from your use of the service — for example, a claim that something you listed infringed someone's rights, or a dispute with a vendor or buyer — except where that claim resulted from something Reflipz did wrong.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or misuse connected marketplace integrations. We aren't able to control or reverse what a third-party marketplace like Poshmark, Mercari, or Vinted decides to do with your account there. You can delete your own account at any time from your account settings; sections of this agreement that are meant to survive that (like limitation of liability and indemnification) still apply afterward.
If a disagreement comes up, we'd rather hear from you directly at hello@reflipz.com and try to sort it out than go straight to anything formal. This agreement is governed by the laws of [state/country to be finalized], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and that's where any dispute that can't be resolved directly would need to be brought.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Reflipz after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
